We will meet at Jardin de Milagros Farm, 496 Wallace Rd. Anthony NM 88021 at 8 a.m. We will be picking cucumbers and okra among other vegetables until about 10 a.m.

Everyone is invited from the youngest to the oldest. All vegetables picked will be delivered to the Kelly Memorial Food Pantry. More than 5000 people a month come to the food pantry, each representing an average of 3.2 members in their households, resulting in an outreach to more than 16,000 individuals living in the Downtown area and beyond. About a third of those families have children under the age of 18; about 15 percent are over the age of 65.

Please wear pants and long sleeves because the mosquitoes are like Pterodactyls.

Directions - From I-10 @ Transmountain (Exit 6a), turn west onto Transmountain, 1/4 mile to right on Talbott, then 3/4 mile & turn right (north) onto TX-20/Doniphan for 0.5 mile, turn left (west) onto FM-259/La Union St (becomes NM-28) for 1.6 mile, take a slight left onto NM-273/ McNutt Hwy for 0.9 mile, stay straight onto Casad Rd for 0.1 mile, turn right (north) onto Wallace Rd for 0.6 mile to 496 Wallace Rd, go right (east) over ditch to garden.
