REAL WORSHIP

Our worship is liturgical in the Anglican tradition, which is embodied in the Book of Common Prayer. It is full of Scripture, from the songs and hymns that we sing, to the reading of passages from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, to the prayers that are offered. The first part of the worship service is focused on the Word of God, which is sung, read and preached. The second part of the worship service is the Holy Communion, which Jesus commanded his disciples to do at the Last Supper. We believe that are are receiving Christ's Body and Blood in the bread and wine, as Jesus told his disciples.

Contemporary Songs of the Week

  • our worship

St. Clement’s believes in real relationships not just individually with God but corporately with each other in the Body of Christ. We offer opportunities for people to participate in prayer groups, Bible study groups, service and mission groups. We welcome participation in our weekly services as readers, distributors of Communion, leading prayers, ushers, greeters, and musicians. All of these are acts of worship to our God that benefit the larger church.

  • traditional and contemporary

The Anglican worship service combines the ancient and modern in a meaningful and inspiring way. We recite the ancient Creeds and Prayers of our faith but strive to bring practical application of God’s Word to your life. Depending on the worship service you choose, you may hear a choir and organ, or a praise band with keyboard, guitar, flute and drums.

  • traditions

The Lord’s Supper or communion is central to all worship services and all baptized Christians are welcome. The members attend worship in whatever they feel comfortable; casual and formal attire are welcome. You will find members in suit and ties as well as jeans and t-shirts . Prayer teams are available at the 8:30 and 10:45 services during communion to pray for and with you! The community is encouraged to participate and be a part of the worship service. All the prayers and music lyrics are either displayed on a screen or available in a bulletin of the service.
