Our youth group is called The Good Soil. We drew from the parable of the sower, found in Luke 8:4-15, for the name and mission of our group. The mission is to love Jesus with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind to become more and more like Him. We do this by leading teenagers into a personal relationship with Jesus and teach them spiritual disciplines to use the gifts that God has given them. We work to form and support a Christ-centered peer group for teenagers and believe that an essential part of our purpose is to support parents in their calling to raise Christian children. We greatly value teaching and learning about Scripture as well as telling those outside of the Church about Jesus. We believe God speaks clearly and individually through His Holy Spirit and that each of us are given supernatural gifts. We desire to see each member of our group use their gifts both in and out of the Church. As a community we worship God through music, service to our neighbors, and through mission work and trips. If you have questions about our youth group please contact our Your Ministry Director, Kristie, at youthministry@stclements.com.
