children's ministry

St. Clement's Kids, our children's ministry, partners with parents to make little disciples by providing opportunities for children to meet, know, and experience Jesus as well as become established in their Christian faith.

The safety of your children is of great importance to us. Each Sunday:

  • All children are to be checked in at the appropriate classroom and are only released to parents or approved family members
  • Parents of children in the nursery are given a pager in case they are needed during the worship service
  • All volunteers and employees of St. Clement's have undergone a background check and are known to be a living example of the love of Christ
  • Many volunteers and all church employees have First Aid & CPR certification

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Children's Ministry Director by email: megan@stclements.com

sunday school

Our 5pm Saturday service does not have childcare or Children's Ministry. Our 8:30am and 10:45am Sunday services offer Children's Ministry.

  • Childcare is available for children ages 0-5.

  • This service includes our most robust Children's Ministry offerings. The nursery is available for children ages 0-3. A preschool classroom is available for ages 3-5. We have classrooms separated by grade for 1st-5th grade students.

  • We offer a cereal bar for children so that parents may attend Adult Sunday School at 10am. After the cereal bar children are escorted to their Sunday School classrooms. Nursery for children ages 0-3 is available during this time, too.

annual events

Our Children's Ministry hosts various annual events throughout the year.

  • This retreat is held the last weekend of May and is a chance for the entire family to regroup and reconnect after the academic school year has ended.

  • Our Vacation Bible School occurs each June and is open to children in preschool through 5th grade.

  • We have offered Upward Soccer seasons in the past which typically run from August to September. Stayed tuned to see if we will host a season this year.

  • We host a Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat each October. Each year there are hayrides, bounce houses, popcorn, face painting, and a delicious meal.

  • Our children in preschool through 5th grade perform a Christmas Pageant at the Christmas Eve family service. There are a few rehearsals in December and the performance is always a joyful event!
