8:30 Service: Infants and children through 5 years of age can be checked-in at the nursery for Bible Time, worship and playtime. Bible lessons are from Sunday School Fun Zone and emphasize God’s love for us and his invitation to have a personal relationship with Him. Our leaders foster special care and attention to each child for reinforcement of developmental skills. Children 6 years of age through 5th grade are welcome to start with their parents in the sanctuary. At the close of the gospel reading, children can proceed out the front right door to the Welcome Center where they are met by their Sunday School teacher and led to their Bible class for the duration of the sermon. They will return to the sanctuary to attend communion with their parents.
10:45 Service: Please check your children in to the appropriate area before the service starts (ages and rooms are listed below). Instructions for communion: For nursery through preschool - if you would like them to join you for communion, feel free to slip out during the passing of the peace to get them from their classroom. Kinder through 5th grade is brought into the sanctuary before communion to join you for the remainder of the service.
- Infants and children through 2 years of age are welcome in the nursery for Bible Time, worship and playtime. This is a specialized lesson for infants through 2 years of age that celebrates each child, the love of Jesus, and whatever special Timeless Truth we are emphasizing. We cover one topic each month. Please watch the short video on this curriculum.
- Preschoolers 3-5 years of age meet in the Wonder Room (located downstairs in the church basement) for singing, crafts, snacks and Bible lessons from Sunday School Fun Zone. These lessons emphasize God’s love for us and his invitation to have a personal relationship with Him. Our leaders foster special care and attention to each child for reinforcement of developmental skills.
- Kinder – 5th grade meet in the Kid’s Cove (located downstairs in the church basement) for Kid’s Connection. This summer we are combining the age groups in an interactive large group and then broken up for small group discussion. Our curriculum, called Firestarters, is about living a supernatural life as a child of God.
